Johan Edvard was the second son of Johanna Maria and Sven Magnus. He was born in Flisby P. and died in Hastings Michigan. He came to the US abt1885 at the age of 18. He had 3  daughters Alice E abt 1893,   Lillian M abt 1895 and Edith Olesen abt 1904.

By 1910 they were living in Chicago, Illinois. The wife seems to have passed away this year as he is 43. He is registered first married and then widowed the same year. His mother Johanna Maria comes to stay with the family at this time, 69 years old as well as Johan Edvards sister Tillie, 33. The girls are then 17, 15 and 6 years old.
