Ethel was next to the youngest  of Emma Sofia and Augusts children.

She married Walt Lundeen- one of the Lundeen brothers from a farm close by. Her older sister Ruth married Walts brother Carl and Ethels oldest sister Julias daughter Ruby married another brother Joe Lundeen.

The men among the Lundeen-Isaacson-families were known to be hard-working men who could build anything. Anything that moved was interesting: steam engines, bikes, motorcycles and automobiles.

The women were hard working women with great sense of humor.

They had 5 children: Elizabeth, Wallace, Lorraine, Walt Jr and Eva Marie.
