August is born 1894 in Chicago, Ill. He goes to school for 6 years.

He marries but becomes a widower early with a son Richard, born around 1919. He stays in the same household as his parents and siblings by 1930 in the middle of the Depression.

Later he is registered having his own home as a farmer in Otto, Oceana in Michigan May 7 1940 when he is 46 years old. He is then living by himself.

August died 25/12 1971 in Whitefall (?)
