Born in Sötåsa south when her parents lived there. She was 2 years old when they moved to Önnestorp from there.

She moved to the US ?? She marriedMagnus  Fernstrom.

They had 3 children Evelyn 1908, Carl 1910 and Dorothy 4/6 1914.

Amanda kept in touch with her cousin Judith by letter in Sweden up in her 90ies. She told about the old times before moving to the US, when her family was a bit hesitant about visiting Judiths family due to their religious beliefs, but was kind of laughing about the their anxiety all those years later.

– She died in Rehoboth, Mass. 94 years old. She was close to her 2 year older sister Minnie and survived her by 17 years.
