Arvida was the daughter of Maria and Arvid Bjurström.

Arvida married Malcolm Fisher and they settled in Loma Linda, Calif.

Arvida Marie (Bjurstrom) Fisher was  born Sept. 30,  1916,  in  Lincoln,N.B., and died Sept.  12,  1999,  in Creston,  B.C. Arvida contributed  to her church  for many years  through music ministry.  Surviving: husband Malcolm Fisher;  sonDean of Sonora, Calif; daughters Marlene (Don)  Lamming of Burns Lake,B.C.,  Sharon King of Loma Linda,Calif.,  and Dawna West of Willits,Calif.; sister Alberta (Ted) Smith of Hillsboro, Ore.;  six  grandchildren and  two great-grandchildren.
