Johannes is the grandfather of Johannes -Anna-Gretas husband- He lived in Boeryd farm (neighbouring Per Brahe dy:s pleasure castle- Brahehälla: For more info around this see the page of their first son Håkan below.)

Johannes married Märta Persdotter from Björk, Vireda 17 Oct 1779 (?), who was 2 years younger. They worked as farmhand and maid in Boeryd.

This is the year when witch-trials were abolished in Sweden. Witch-trials were not very common at all in Sweden compared to other countries but existed before this.

Gustav III is the regent of Sweden. He loved music and arts but was also involved in smaller not so successful wars. He lived in Stockholm- far away from Småland and Boeryd, at the time.

Johannes from Boryd and his wife Märta Persdotter Björk from Vireda had 4 sons and 3 daughters:

1. Håkan Johannesson 1782. Johannes was 28 years old when his son Håkan was born.

3. Nils 1787

4. Lars 1789

5. Stina 1794

6. Maria 1797

7 Sara 1800

Johannes died at the age of 56 when Håkan was 28 years old.
