Chester was born just as World War I had started in Europe. He was born in Illinois, USA.

During his life he became a tool designer for E G Erickson in Moline, Rock Island, Illinois. He became a methods engineer for Deere & Comp. He developed shipping containers forJohn Deere for 20 + years

He becomes very old. By 97 years he has a dementia. (April 2012)
