John Adolf is born in Nässjö as Johan August and Sofias first child. In the church book 1881 in Svenarum he was named Johan Adolf.
When John was 2 years old his father saw some children in the street of Nässjö who quarreled and threw stones at each other. This made him think that he wanted to raise his own children in a more peaceful atmosphere. He bought a farm, far out in the woods of Svenarum- Storrydet, and moved there with his little family 1879.
John and his brother Josef were close in age – only 1,5 years- and seems to have stuck together

Around 1899- 22 years old, John went to study for a year in Nyhyttans Adventist school.
He then left for Norway to learn the tailoring profession by Albin and Jenny Larsson who lived in Horton, Norway. He stayed there some years and his sister Judith also came to stay there. Judith and John were very close.
When John went back to start up his own tailoring business in Vaggeryd, Småland, she came along with him and worked with him for a while.
John met Anna Svensson who came from Gränna and they got married 1903 and they had 7 children: Nora, Mallan, Vide, Birgit, Märtha, Rune och Margareta between 1903 and 1920.
5 weeks after the wedding John started building his first villa in Vaggeryd:
Later he built Granhem in Vaggeryd:
John and Anna kept in close touch with Johns siblings all through Johns life and they were very close to Johns mother Sofia. His father Johan August, Johns father passed away 1909 when John was 32 years old.
John was now turning very ill in miliary tuberculosis and had to stop working because of his weekness. By Dec 1922 they moved the school to Dalskogen, Lindesberg. Not so long after it moved to Nyhyttan.
John and Anna started a private school in the early 1920ies.

In March John passed away only 44 years old. Rune – our dear Geneology father was his 6th child and was only 5 years old when his father died. His mother still lived and survived him by 2 years.
