Ruth married Carl Lundeen – one of the Lundeen-brothers from the closeby-farm. Little sister Ethel married one of the other brothers – Walt. Ruths big sister Julias daughter Ruby married a third Lundeen-brother Joe.

The men among the Lundeen-families were known to be hard-working men who could build anything. Anything that moved was interesting: steam engines, bikes, motorcycles and automobiles.

The women were hard working women with great sense of humor.

They had 5 children : Carroll, Kermit, Grace, Virginia and Joyce
