John Magnus Gentzell 2/9 1892 – 8/6 1984

Born in Chicago, Ill. 2 sept 1892.

1910 – 18 years old he is already registered as a Clerk of Wholesale of Dental supplies

24 years old he registered for WWI 5th of June 1917 – his occupation is ‘Toothman’, employed by Johnson&Lund comp- making Dental supplies. A company still existing, founded in 1859. (http://www.johnsonandlund.com/)  He was single and had no former military experience. He described himself as tall, medium bodysized, blue-eyed and lightbrown hair. His younger brother Gustaf Adoph is also fighting in WW I.

37 years old, being a veteran from WWI, he is registered 1930 together with his parents and brothers in Chicago. He is still  single and has picked up his former job as a Salesman of Dental Supplies.

1940 he is registered living with his sister Hilma and her husband Albert Hasse. He is now 46 years old. With them Richard Gentzell, 21 – the son of their brother August – is living.

49 years old 1942 he is registered in the WWII draft. He was then employed by Chicago Dental Manufacturing. He registered his little sister Hilma C. (Haase – born 1903 = 9 years younger than him) to be the one who will always know his address.

He died in Ludington
