Isak was the9th of Johan August and Sofias 11 children- born in Storrydet.

In the Svenarum churchbook of 1891 his name is spelled Isaak.
Ruben was his little close brother who was out a lot in the world when Isak was at home in Sweden building family and settlement.
Ruben even discovered Isaks wife Anna (probably at Nyhyttan) and told him he had found a wife for him which also shortly came true.
He was a well-respected man and throughout his life staying in the region where he grew up. He became a Constable.
Mother Sofia stayed with Isaks family quite a lot atÅbo home after Storrydet was sold 1914. She lived until 1924
Åbo (56013 Hok) was the home he settled in with his family and a place where many of the returning family-members would visit as they came home to visit during the following years.
Isak and Anna had 3 children: Sven-Arne 1922, Gerd 1924 and Nils-Erik 1925 and Per-Olof 1928.
In this newpaper-text says: ‘Early in the morning of September 1 1939 the rumours reached us in the factory at the radio that the Germans had occupied Poland. The atmosphere was dull. As the bells of Svenarum Church were ringing and the signal pipe at the chimney was wailing and as we from our pack saw Constable Isak Johansson nailing the declaration of mobilization at the bulletin board beyond ‘stockadammen’, (=name of a local place) yes, then we understood the gravity of the situation. The young men at the age of conscription gathered around the bulletin board to see if they were among the recruited for standby. Some of the workers immediately disappeared. The rest of us continued to work but without doubt with slower pace. There was so much to talk and wonder about. We, who were young, got over the shock quickly though…’
Isak and Anna and all his family are buried together with Isaks parents and siblings in Svenarum Church close to where he lived.
