Born in Sötåsa  5/9 – died in North Maple Ridge TWP. Mn. She came to the US 1/4- 1881 23 years old. She had married Peter Peterson born 1850- 8 years older than Matilda. They had 3 children: Arthur 1890, Alice 1892 and Edwin 1894. Peter died about (?) 1895 in Minnesota.

1876 when Sötåsa Södergård was sold and Johannes and Anna-Greta got the exclusion-contract and moved into the older Sötåsa, Matilda and sister Emma-Sofia were still at home. Emma-Sofia married 22 of July the same year though. Matildas oldest sister Kristina and her family moved to the other side of the lake to Önnestorp. Matilda…………………..

At the age of  38 years – 25/11 1896 – she married Carl Petter Anderson from Halland, Sweden, He was born 24/6 1835 and was then 61 years old- 23 years older than Matilda. (He died 1/3 1919 in Maple Ridge, Mn.- 84 years old) They had 3 sons:  Emil 1897, Carl Philip 1899 and Reuben .
