His mother was Betsy Englund who came from J\u00e4mtland, Sweden.<\/p>\n<p>He stayed with his parents all their lives where they first farmed in <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps\/myplaces?hl=sv&amp;vpsrc=4&amp;ctz=-60&amp;abauth=5129000ez0QmxTjMFxlfNYUc_EUVxK6-6Dk&amp;vps=1&amp;num=10\" target=\"_blank\">Grandy, Mn<\/a>\u00a0and 1920 bought a farm- Dansare farm in Cambridge area, Isanti County.<\/p>\n<p>His 4 years younger sister <a title=\"Edith K Johnson 18\/8 1897 \u2013 25\/11 2000\" href=\"http:\/\/ancestry.smars.se\/exempelsida\/karl-viktor\/edith-k-johnson-188-1897-2511-2000\">Edith<\/a> farmed with him all his life.
