She probably worked there as a maid.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-172 aligncenter\" style=\"color: #333333; font-style: normal; line-height: 24px;\" title=\"Johanna born 1841 in S\u00f6t\u00e5sa\" alt=\"\" src=\"wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Johanna-f\u00f6dd-1841-omkr-1890.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>23\/5 1863 she married the Soldier Sven Magnus Frid from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/maps.google.se\/maps\/ms?msid=202734398850949442153.0004d3448268161a5bfb1&amp;msa=0&amp;ll=68.334376,-9.84375&amp;spn=102.836626,316.054688&amp;iwloc=0004d3a5bbd88d97a9c0b\" target=\"_blank\">F\u00f6r\u00e5s<\/a>\u00a0in Flisby, born 17\/10 1825- 16 year older than Johanna. She was 22 at the time. He brought one son, <a title=\"Isak Ludvig\" href=\"http:\/\/ancestry.smars.se\/?page_id=352\">Isak Ludvig<\/a> with him, into the marriage. Isak Ludvigs mother was Anna Margareta Andersdotter born 1811 but she died in breast inflammation 1861- 50 years old.<\/p>\n<p>Sven Magnus Frids Family name was Johannesson and Frid was his Soldiername. He joined the army 1847.<\/p>\n<p>He belonged to J\u00f6nk\u00f6pings regemente, Rote <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.google.se\/maps\/ms?msid=202734398850949442153.0004d3448268161a5bfb1&amp;msa=0&amp;ll=68.334376,-9.84375&amp;spn=102.836626,316.054688&amp;iwloc=0004d6b8fc0fd567d47ea\" target=\"_blank\">Ormaryd<\/a> 122, Company V\u00e4stra H\u00e4rad, Solberga socken (Parish). The Soldiers cottage no:\u00a0<strong>Torpnummer:\u00a0<\/strong>JR-00-0397<\/p>\n<address>They had 8 children together: They stayed for 13 years in <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.google.se\/maps\/ms?msid=202734398850949442153.0004d3448268161a5bfb1&amp;msa=0&amp;ll=68.334376,-9.84375&amp;spn=102.836626,316.054688&amp;iwloc=0004d3a5bbd88d97a9c0b\" target=\"_blank\">Flisby<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; the parish Sven Magnus came from, until about 1876 when they moved to Ormaryd,\u00a0Turlunda\u00a0soldiers cottage. The children were <a title=\"August Emil Tyden 13\/1 1865 \u2013 23\/11 1951\" href=\"http:\/\/ancestry.smars.se\/?page_id=178\" target=\"_blank\">August Emil<\/a>, who moved to the US 1863, 17 years old, <a title=\"Johan Edvard Tyden 3\/3 1867 \u2013 after 1930\" href=\"http:\/\/ancestry.smars.se\/?page_id=345\" target=\"_blank\">Johan Edvard<\/a> US 1885- 18 years old, <a title=\"Esther Tyden 24\/5 1869 \u2013\" href=\"http:\/\/ancestry.smars.se\/?page_id=349\" target=\"_blank\">Esther<\/a> who died 7 years old in brainfever, <a title=\"Oscar Henrik Tyden 2\/5 1871 \u2013 21\/4 1945\" href=\"http:\/\/ancestry.smars.se\/?page_id=355\" target=\"_blank\">Oscar Henrik<\/a>&#8211; US 1888- 17 years old, <a title=\"Karl Anders Tyden 14\/2 1874 \u2013 21\/4 1920\" href=\"http:\/\/ancestry.smars.se\/?page_id=361\" target=\"_blank\">Karl Anders<\/a>&#8211; US 1892-18 years old, <a title=\"Matilda Olivia Tyden 1\/12 1876 \u2013 23\/11 1942\" href=\"http:\/\/ancestry.smars.se\/?page_id=366\" target=\"_blank\">Matilda<\/a>&#8211; US- 16 years old, <a title=\"Axel Wilhelm Frid 26\/12 1879 \u2013 27\/9 1918\" href=\"http:\/\/ancestry.smars.se\/?page_id=363\" target=\"_blank\">Axel Wilhelm<\/a> &#8211; US 1903- 24 years old, <a title=\"Anna Alida Frid 7\/8 1882 \u2013 7\/8 1902\" href=\"http:\/\/ancestry.smars.se\/?page_id=369\" target=\"_blank\">Anna Alida<\/a>\u00a0who died only 20 years old 1902.<\/address>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-173 alignright\" style=\"color: #333333; font-style: normal; line-height: 24px;\" title=\"Johanna and  Sven Magnus Frid ni Flisby abt 1890\" alt=\"\" src=\"wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Johanna-och-Sven-Magnus-Frid-i-Flisby-omkr-1890-300x222.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"222\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ancestry.smars.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Johanna-och-Sven-Magnus-Frid-i-Flisby-omkr-1890-300x222.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ancestry.smars.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Johanna-och-Sven-Magnus-Frid-i-Flisby-omkr-1890-403x300.jpg 403w, https:\/\/ancestry.smars.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Johanna-och-Sven-Magnus-Frid-i-Flisby-omkr-1890.jpg 802w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>1885 the family moved from Ormaryds Soldattorp-Soldiers cottage no 122 in Turlunda to Backstugan <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.google.se\/maps\/ms?msid=202734398850949442153.0004d3448268161a5bfb1&amp;msa=0&amp;ll=68.334376,-9.84375&amp;spn=102.836626,316.054688&amp;iwloc=0004d4370614edd944b63\" target=\"_blank\">Fridhem, K\u00e4ttstorp<\/a> in Norra Solberga parish. He was said to be &#8216;avskedad&#8217; &#8211; called &#8216;Gratialist&#8217;<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Sven Magnus died 10\/2 1908.<\/p>\n<p>1909 Johanna Maria moved to\u00a0the US,\u00a0she was then 68 years old. She was the last one of Johannes and Anna-Gretas children to move to the US. Only brother Johan August stayed in Sweden of them all. She took the name of her first son Emil, which was Tyden and she reunited with her siblings who had all moved there except for Johan August.<\/p>\n<div>1909 the emigration went\u00a0from Ormaryd<a href=\"https:\/\/maps.google.se\/maps\/ms?msid=202734398850949442153.0004d3448268161a5bfb1&amp;msa=0&amp;ll=62.267923,-9.84375&amp;spn=55.449382,158.027344&amp;iwloc=0004d6b8fc0fd567d47ea\" target=\"_blank\">,<\/a> Sweden and \u00a0she\u00a0came on the ship Laurentic<\/div>\n<div>,together with her son Emil and his wife Minnie and daughter Florence via Liverpool, England to Quebec, Canada-\u00a0Aug. 19.
