Jon was then 20 years old.<\/p>\n<p>During the 17th century the Southern part of Sweden, Sk\u00e5ne, had become Swedish in the wars between Sweden and Denmark. Sk\u00e5ne had belonged to Denmark for hundreds of years and people were not happy about it but were forced to learn Swedish and were slowly &#8216;Swedenized&#8217;. In this way Sm\u00e5land, situated north of Sk\u00e5ne then became more peaceful.<\/p>\n<p>The Nordic 7year-war took place 1563-70 started by Denmark.
