June 5 1917 he is drafted to WW I<\/a> – 21 years old. He is then a Fireman, employed by Charles Mitchell. He is tall, slender, brown-eyed and dark-haired.<\/p>\n

1930 in the middle of the Depression – he is 34 years old and registered<\/a> together with his parents and 4 other siblings as Adolph, in Chicago. He is single and a Veteran from WW I as his 4 year older brother John Magnus.<\/p>\n
