She moved out from S\u00f6t\u00e5sa when she was 21 years old \u00a01864-65 to \u00c5sen North Farm and worked as a maid whereafter she moved to<a href=\"https:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps\/ms?msid=202734398850949442153.0004d3448268161a5bfb1&amp;msa=0&amp;ll=59.175928,-10.019531&amp;spn=54.849268,158.027344&amp;iwloc=0004e1408a5cfee1f9585\" target=\"_blank\"> \u00c5sen<\/a> South Farm 1\/1 1866. Her older sister <a title=\"Christina Sofia Febr 24, 1839 \u2013 6\/1 1930\" href=\"http:\/\/ancestry.smars.se\/exempelsida\/christina\" target=\"_blank\">Christina<\/a> had been there before her and her little brother <a title=\"Johan August Johannisson 19\/11 1846 \u2013 26\/11 1909\" href=\"http:\/\/ancestry.smars.se\/exempelsida\/johan-august\" target=\"_blank\">Johan August<\/a> joined her as a farmhand 1867. This was the year of starvation in Sm\u00e5land as the harvest went very wrong. \u00a0She moved back to S\u00f6t\u00e5sa 19\/11 1868 (the day of her brother Johan Augusts birthday) Then again she moved away to work as a maid one year later in Nov 1869 to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/ms?msid=202734398850949442153.0004d3448268161a5bfb1&amp;msa=0&amp;ll=57.98408,14.634476&amp;spn=0.230066,0.617294&amp;iwloc=0004ed5991e98c7a4573c\" target=\"_blank\"> Svartem\u00e5len<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0where she stayed for one year til 14\/11 1870 as she moves home to S\u00f6t\u00e5sa again.<\/p>\n<p>As the Church had their yearly examinations she always had good grades (a-ab)<\/p>\n<p>She emigrated to the US April 21 1871.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-183 aligncenter\" style=\"color: #333333; font-style: normal; line-height: 24px; text-align: center;\" title=\"Hedda Lovisa\" alt=\"\" src=\"wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Hedda-Lovisa.png\" width=\"253\" height=\"350\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ancestry.smars.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Hedda-Lovisa.png 253w, https:\/\/ancestry.smars.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Hedda-Lovisa-216x300.png 216w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 253px) 100vw, 253px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>She married Swan Johan Isacsson, born Oct. 2, 1831, in Sweden. This was 1870 &#8211; They lived in <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps\/ms?msid=202734398850949442153.0004d3448268161a5bfb1&amp;msa=0&amp;ll=59.175928,-35.507812&amp;spn=54.849268,158.027344&amp;iwloc=0004da55abe88b2d32dee\" target=\"_blank\">Moline, Rock island , Illinois<\/a> as did her sisters <a title=\"Ida Charlotta 4\/8 1845 -\" href=\"http:\/\/ancestry.smars.se\/exempelsida\/ida-charlotta\" target=\"_blank\">Ida Charlotta<\/a> and<a title=\"Lottie Jaensson\/Johnson- Augusta Charlotta 7\/1 1850 \u2013 7\/4 1931\" href=\"http:\/\/ancestry.smars.se\/exempelsida\/lottie-augusta-charlotta\" target=\"_blank\"> Lottie<\/a>&#8211; Augusta Charlotta.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/5-sisters-from-S\u00f6t\u00e5sa-in-the-US-after-19091-e1381998186150.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3725 aligncenter\" title=\"5 sisters from S\u00f6t\u00e5sa in the US after 1909: Hedda Lovisa is to the right. Isaacson  Nov. 1879 \u2013 1969\" href=\"http:\/\/ancestry.smars.se\/exempelsida\/hedda-lovisa\/oscar-p-isaacson-nov-1879-1969\" target=\"_blank\">Oscar P<\/a> 1879<\/p>\n<p>6. <a title=\"Alice E. Sept 1882\" href=\"http:\/\/ancestry.smars.se\/exempelsida\/hedda-lovisa\/alice-e-sept-1882\" target=\"_blank\">Alice E<\/a> Sep. 1882.<\/p>\n<p>Hedda Lovisa passed away 82 years old in Moline, Rock island and is buried in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.findagrave.com\/cgi-bin\/fg.cgi?page=gr&amp;GSln=Isaacson&amp;GSiman=1&amp;GScid=107707&amp;GRid=32591119&amp;\" target=\"_blank\">Riverside cemetery<\/a>\u00a0with the rest of her family.\u00a0This is where her husband Swan also is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.findagrave.com\/cgi-bin\/fg.cgi?page=gsr&amp;GSln=Isaacson&amp;GSiman=1&amp;GScid=107707&amp;\" target=\"_blank\">buried<\/a> 1913- 13 years before her.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cover photo Vintage railroad card from Moline Hedda Lovisa Johannisdotter was born in S\u00f6t\u00e5sa S\u00f6derg\u00e5rd\u00a013\/6.
